Any skateboarding project working with children has the responsibility to protect its participants from abuse, exploitation and/or neglect, within their programs and externally. This section gives an overview on child protection risks and strategies for skate projects, as well as tips on strengthening your project’s policies and systems for keeping children safe.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
If you want to provide the best possible skate programs, it’s essential to set goals and measure your progress. MEL helps you be accountable to those who support your work, as well as to your participants. This section features practical guides and templates about MEL tools like surveys and logframes.

Organizational Capacity
Whether you’re part of a grassroots project looking for some guidance on how to professionalize, or an established project that wants to build a more long-term strategy, this is the section for you! Last month, our Skate Project Specialist, Rhianon, travelled to Iraq, Palestine and Jordan to visit Goodpush’s three partner organizations. Her aim was to help them grow their programs and reach more children through skateboarding.
