In the first round of the Pushing Against Racism Fund, A total of $12,000 was awarded to 16 projects across 13 countries, who provided access to skateboarding and educational/creative workshops for disenfranchised communities.

Designed by Skateistan and Women Win, the ROLL Models programme enters its fourth year to support and create visibility for women and non-binary leadership in skateboarding.

Women Win have created a Mental Health and Wellbeing Toolkit designed for coaches looking to inspire the next generation of girls to be physically and mentally active and healthy through sports.

For the fourth year in a row, Skateistan and Women Win are teaming up to support women and non-binary leadership in skateboarding.

This year’s survey saw the highest number of respondents we’ve had since launching in 2018! For the first time, we made the survey available in Portuguese and received an incredible 55 responses from projects based in Brazil.

While there are various resources and guides related to inclusion and empowerment through sport, there is a distinct lack of guidance related specifically to skateboarding-based programs serving displaced youth.

The MindPower E-Course, developed by Waves for Change, Health Warriors, and The Goodpush Alliance is a perfect place to start nurturing practical skills for supporting the wellbeing of staff and participants.
