In case you haven’t heard the term marginalised before, it is used as an umbrella term for people or groups who are pushed to the margins, or the edges, of society where they experience disempowerment, discrimination and injustice. Some commonly marginalized groups include women, people with disabilities, people of color, LGBTQI+ folks, Indigenous peoples, people of a lower socio-economic status and so on.
